Methods of Delivery

Delivery

The products you purchase at the Webstore are typically shipped on the business day following the date of your order, and they generally arrive to the delivery address you have provided within 2-6 days. Depending on the address you provided in conjunction with the order, the order will be delivered to a postal outlet or home. The delivery includes an agreement confirmation, which also functions as the receipt for your purchase and the possible warranty. The agreement confirmation will also be emailed to you after the order has been placed.

The Luhta Brand Store Webstore functions in real-time: the products displayed on the website are in stock. If due to some unusual circumstances the product that has been purchased cannot be delivered, we will contact the customer separately.

At the Luhta Brand Store Webstore you can also reserve products to the store of your choice. The products will be shipped to the store, where you can try them on and purchase them. You will receive email notification when the products are ready for pick up. The products you reserved will be held at the store for 7 days.

 

Delivery fees

Delivery fees are determined based on the method of delivery selected and on any additional services, order weight and volume. The delivery fees appear on the Webstore’s checkout function before final approval of the order.

The delivery methods listed in the service are valid only for deliveries from the Luhta Brand Store Webstore. The Webstore’s delivery fees are as follows:

- Pick up from a postal outlet (Postipaketti 16) 6.90 euros

- Home delivery (Kotipaketti 21) 17.90 euros

- Pick up from the store. Delivery fee 0 euros

 

Unclaimed shipments

We use Posti to ship products. According to their own terms, Posti will hold a shipment for 1-2 weeks. If the package remains unclaimed during that time, the package will be returned to the sender, i.e. Luhta Brand Store Webstore. An unclaimed shipment is not considered a return pursuant to the Consumer Protection Act; rather, it is considered a breach of contract on the part of the buyer. In these cases, we automatically charge a shipping and handling fee of 10.00 euros. The Webstore is entitled to compensation from the buyer for any special costs incurred from the breach of contract. (Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 5, Section 25 & 28)
